We are pleased to announce that our school has successfully participated in the 75th National Day Agrifood Fair. This event was co-organized by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD), the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), the Vegetable Marketing Organization (VMO), and the Fish Marketing Organization (FMO). It aimed to promote intangible cultural heritage and Chinese culture. Our school's exhibition, titled "Intangible Cultural Heritage in Sham Shui Po," featured the "Free D Community Walk" as part of the program, highlighting the rich history and culture of the Sham Shui Po and Shek Kip Mei districts.
During the event, our students actively participated as volunteers and guides, introducing visitors to the cultural heritage of Sham Shui Po. Using VR360 social documentary clips and a 3D community exploration game, participants were able to immerse themselves in the stories of these historically significant neighborhoods. Our exhibition not only showcased the intangible cultural heritage of Sham Shui Po but also emphasized the importance of cultural preservation, raising public awareness and fostering a deeper appreciation for local community culture.
The event provided a valuable platform for our students, offering them the opportunity to learn about and contribute to the preservation of Chinese culture. It also enhanced our interaction with the community and deepened our understanding of intangible cultural heritage. The exhibition attracted numerous visitors and received widespread praise and recognition from various sectors of society.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the students, parents, and teachers for their support and dedication in making this event a success. Moving forward, our school will continue to promote cultural preservation and actively participate in similar community cultural activities, allowing more people to understand and cherish our cultural heritage.
