Beyond classroom
Study Tours

Our school has always been committed to guiding students to extend their learning beyond the classroom and even beyond Hong Kong, believing that “traveling thousands of miles is better than reading thousands of books." Every year, our school organizes various distinctive local and international exchange programs.

Overseas Study Tours

 English Language Learning Exchange Tours

Before the pandemic, our English department led students on a study tour to the United States, where they were hosted by local churches and had the opportunity to stay with American families, gaining a deeper understanding of the local culture.

After the pandemic, the English department organized an exchange tour to Singapore in 2023 and 2024, enabling students to practice English and interact with people from different backgrounds, broaden their horizons, and learn about the local culture.

 Travel and Hospitality Study Tours

The Travel and Hospitality department has been organizing study tours to various destinations annually, such as South Korea and Taiwan. In 2024, Malaysia will be the destination, allowing students to design itineraries and apply the knowledge gained from textbooks in practical situations.

 Specialized Exchange Tours

In 2023, the school organized a trip to France for students and teachers to participate in a STEM event, providing students with eye-opening experiences and valuable insights.

 Specialized Exchange Tours

The school actively encourages students to participate in overseas exchange tours organized by the Education Bureau or external organizations. In recent years, we have participated in exchange tours organized by "SSP Youth Corps " under the Sham Shui Po District Office, visiting places such as Japan, South Korea, and Europe. In 2023, a student from the 3D class, Cheng Tsz Yan, successfully applied for an exchange tour to Australia, having the opportunity to interact with students from other schools in the district and explore the local culture while making new friends.

Mainland China Study Tours

 Sister School Exchange Tours
  • Quzhou No.1 Middle School, Zhejiang Province

Since 2014, our school has been visiting Quzhou No.1 Middle School every year. The visits were interrupted after 2019 due to the pandemic. In April 2024, our school will organize 24 students and teachers to visit Quzhou No.1 Middle School once again.

During the visits, students will explore different attractions in Hangzhou and Quzhou, such as West Lake, Yuewang Temple, Hu Xueyan's Former Residence, Quzhou Museum, Quzhou Nankong Family Ancestral Temple, and Wuzhen Water Town. This allows students to learn about Chinese history and culture, fostering a deeper understanding of our homeland.

  • Jingxian Junior Middle School, Jianghai District, Jiangmen City

A sister school partnership was established in 2023, and we plan to organize a visit in the 2024-2025 academic year.
