Mission
"International Interface” is a distinct feature of Lutheran schools' education. Through the extensive international network of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the school provides cultural exchange opportunities and chances to share faith for students, missionaries, and volunteers from around the world. This allows them to understand the gospel and learn English.
In recent years, the school has also been in contact with various high schools in the USA, providing students with more opportunities to engage with different cultures, and broadening their international perspectives.
Goals
- To experience the missionary mindset:
Through exchanges with missionaries and volunteers, understand their commitment to overseas missionary work.
- Demonstrating the unity of faith:
Despite different nationalities and cultures, unite in the same faith to promote the gospel.
- Cultivating a spirit of hospitality:
As gracious hosts, welcome international guests, learn to serve others, introduce local culture, and engage in in-depth exchanges.
- Establishing cross-national friendships:
Through correspondence and information sharing, enable students and foreigners living in different parts of the world to build friendships.
- Encountering foreigners in daily life:
Engage in long-term exchanges with foreigners in language, culture, and lifestyle, experiencing the international nature of living in Hong Kong.
